All About HD

No doubt you've heard a lot about high definition video.  Shooting and finishing your wedding video in true HD can be an expensive prospect.  Most videography companies offer a set of HD packages but shoot using sub-professional HD formats.  Get all the facts about HD and our true HD services here.

Meet Our Videographer

Eric Matthew Wilkinson is the director and chief editor for every event we shoot. He personally attends every booking we make so you can be assured that your video will be of the same quality as the videos you see on our samples page.

Eric has been shooting and editing film and video since he was ten years old. He received an Eastman Kodak production grant for his film “The Distant Sound of Trains” and graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a degree in Cinema and Photography in 1999. Eric then spent five years working in the Los Angeles film industry. From his time there he earned experience on the sets of major motion pictures, music videos, independent films, and television shows. Los Angeles left Eric with an advanced technical and practical knowledge of film and video techniques and he wore many hats including Production Coordinator, Gaffer, and Cinematographer.

Exhibits of his documentary photography have been displayed in various galleries and venues in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and southern Illinois. He has been interviewed on television and radio as well as quoted in print media regarding these exhibitions.

As a professional filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor in the St. Louis area he has worked with the Missouri Wilderness Coalation, the LAD Foundation, Rumble to the River, THF Realty, Washington University, St. Louis Variety, The Ronald McDonald, The Youth Technology and Education Center, and UPN TV 46. Additionally, he has worked on video projects with several bands and artists. His unique approach to wedding cinematography is one that is quickly becoming the industry standard. Eric's film works have been screened in several venues throughout the country as well as St. Louis' own Tivoli Theater and he has been closely involved in independent productions that have screened in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. He is currently pursuing work on a feature length documentary as well as a short narrative film.
