Orchid Studio offers professional videography services for ceremonies and large events such as conferences, graduations, board meetings, and communions.  In situations where there is a potential for the sale of DVDs of these events we work with the organization to use this as a fund raising opportunity.  

All event videography services include the following:

• 2 videographers for the shoot duration, one of which is always Eric Wilkinson
• 2 cameras
• 3 wireless microphones
• 2 high quality condenser microphones record any live music (stereo) or "special amplification zone"
• 1 general room microphone
• 2 fully authored DVDs with custom menu and package design tailored for your unique event

All services are available in High Definition or Standard Definition.  Additional cameras, microphones, and videographers are available.  We offer live closed circuit event telecast, sound amplification equipment, lighting equipment, video and computer projectors, projection screens (front and rear), and technicians for all of these additional services.

Because of the unique nature of event video production we cannot provide a cost estimate without gaining information and details about your particular event, venue, and requirements.  Consulting services are part of our service charge so you can be assured your video production will be of the highest quality possible.  We work with clients to make sure the video production services they are purchasing will work for their intended goals.

Again, we cannot provide accurate cost estimates without initiating a personal dialog, however, the services listed above, which are the minimum we offer for event videography, come at a cost of $250/hr for SD production or $410/hr for HD.  All services have a four hour minimum.  Billing is derived from our time on location.

Fund Raising with Orchid Studio

Orchid Studio is uniquely positioned to assist non-profit organizations, schools, and institutions with the production, duplication, and distribution of video content.  For events such as graduations, auctions, compilation videos, and religious ceremonies, we are able to act as your video production and distribution company.  In this situation your organization would pay any fees associated with your production up front.  Then, through the sale of your production's DVDs, Orchid Studio will enter into a profit sharing agreement with your organization after that initial fee has been repaid.

For example, let's say a particular production has $1000 of fees associated with it and it is decided that DVDs of this event will be sold for $30.  After 33 DVDs have been sold the initial $1000 would have been made back.  Orchid Studio would then refund your organization's $1000 payment minus a $5 per disc production cost fee.  The profits from all additional DVD sales would be split 75/25 with 75% going to your organization.  In other words, the profit on a $30 DVD is $25.  75% of $25 is 18.75.  Therefore, your organization would stand to make $18.75 per disc.  Expanding on that example shows that your organization would stand to raise over $1200 from a sale of 100 DVDs sold at $30 each.  This is after the associated production costs have been repaid!
